ESET SOLAR’s Saudi Manufacturing Base Reaches Key Milestone, Phase I Nears Completion

ESET SOLAR, a global leader in green smart manufacturing and all-scenario  PV mounting solutions, is making significant strides in the construction of its first Middle Eastern manufacturing base in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Phase  I  project, which commenced  with  the  groundbreaking  ceremony  in  August  2025  at  the  MODON Second Industrial Park, is now entering its final stage.

Spanning 15,204 square meters, the Phase I facility is a cornerstone of the larger 7GW  annual  capacity  plan.  Construction  has  progressed  rapidly,  with  foundation works for the torque tube production line fully completed. The galvanizing production line is also advancing swiftly and is expected to be ready for trial production by the end  of  this  month.  To  ensure  both  efficiency  and  safety,  the  project  team  has implemented strategic measures, including leasing backup warehouses for flexible material logistics and employing steel sheet pile  reinforcement techniques for the deep foundations of the galvanizing line.

Concurrently,  plans for  Phase  II  are  actively  underway.  Having  secured  MODON approval  and  land  use  rights  for  a   100,000-square-meter  plot,  the  company  is progressing with architectural design. Targeted for operational status by the end of 2026, the full-scale manufacturing park will integrate R&D, production, processing, warehousing, and logistics, creating a comprehensive renewable energy industrial ecosystem.

With  a  total  investment  of  approximately  218  million  Saudi  Riyals,  the  project’s strategic importance extends far beyond its physical footprint. Upon full completion, it is set to generate substantial local employment, transfer advanced manufacturing technology and management expertise, and stimulate the growth of upstream and downstream industries. This initiative stands as a powerful testament to Sino-Saudi cooperation,   directly   supporting   the    industrial   diversification    and   sustainable development  goals  outlined   in  “Saudi  Vision  2030.”   Under  the  global  strategic guidance of its  parent company, the  METAVAST GROUP,  ESET  SOLAR  is firmly positioned to write a new chapter in international production capacity cooperation and the global energy transition.
