Design Documentary of China Resources Qingliu 100MW Fishery-Solar Complementary Project

Construction of the China Resources Qingliu 100MW Fishery-Solar Complementary Project has been in full swing since its groundbreaking in December 2025. Behind this energy blueprint lies the solid support of ESET SOLAR, safeguarding the project’s high-quality delivery with craftsmanship and technological expertise.

From the initial design phase, the project confronted multiple challenges: located in a mountain basin with a unique landform, the site features scattered fish ponds with prominent elevation differences, imposing extremely high requirements for pile foundation precision; the soft silt at the pond bottom offers insufficient bearing capacity, hiding risks of deflection and settlement in each piling operation; the foundation consists of a composite geology of pebbles and weathered rock, further complicating foundation construction. In addition, the project is spread across three sites—Songkou, Shawu and Songxi—posing severe difficulties in delivery allocation, engineering quantity statistics and overall progress coordination. Faced with these successive challenges, ESET SOLAR rose to the occasion, breaking through dilemmas with customized solutions and innovative technological strength.

01 Dual Rigorous Reviews, Craftsmanship Through Clearance

In the early stage, the project underwent two stringent reviews: an initial review by the owner’s experts and a re-inspection by a third party. Extreme requirements in three dimensions—compliance, safety and economy—served as the core guidelines for scheme optimization. ESET SOLAR actively cooperated throughout the process, conducting repeated deductions, on-site verifications and scheme revisions across multiple rounds, covering mechanical checking of support structures, feasibility demonstration of foundation schemes, selection of weather-resistant materials, and optimization of standardized construction techniques. For key review points such as load calculation and wind-resistant design, the company specially produced multiple detailed demonstration reports, justifying the scheme’s rationality with precise data, clearing obstacles for the project’s smooth commencement and scheduled grid connection.

02 Scattered Mountain Ponds, Solid Piling with Steely Strength

On-site surveys revealed random elevation differences of 1 to 2 meters between adjacent fish ponds, coupled with weak bearing capacity of the soft pond-bottom soil, posing considerable challenges to support construction. Drawing on years of experience in support projects for complex terrains, ESET SOLAR innovatively adopted an intelligent pile length adaptive design and high-precision elevation control scheme, efficiently resolving this complex working condition. For minor deviations during construction, customized components and targeted reinforcement measures were applied for precise compensation and adjustment, ensuring the photovoltaic modules maintain a flat layout. This not only guarantees power generation efficiency but also firmly upholds the bottom line of structural safety.

03 Water and Light in Harmony, Technology Protecting Symbiosis

To address the erosion impact of the high-humidity water environment on the support system, ESET SOLAR simulated extreme hydrological conditions in advance and adopted a double-pile cap structure at the pond bottom, strictly controlling the horizontal displacement of inclined tension piles within the safety threshold. The project selected anti-corrosion steel matched with hot-dip galvanized anti-corrosion coatings, encased underwater steel structures in concrete, and implemented PE casing grouting to fully isolate steel components from water bodies. This effectively resists long-term immersion erosion, ensuring the service life of the support system stably exceeds 25 years.

04 Three-Site Coordination, Efficient Collaboration

Backed by robust supply support, ESET SOLAR accelerated project delivery with strong digital collaborative management capabilities. The modular design plus standardized construction model was adopted to minimize customized components and shorten processing and delivery cycles; a centralized intelligent monitoring platform was built to realize real-time aggregation and remote regulation of equipment operation data across the three sites, demonstrating core design and management advantages in complex mountain fishery-solar complementary projects.

In the near future, as blue photovoltaic panels spread into a vast ocean above the mountain ponds, as clean electricity flows steadily into the power grid, and as fishermen harvest full catches of fish and shrimp beneath the panels, this ecological picture of water-light symbiosis and fishery-power win-win results will bear witness to ESET SOLAR’s green development journey of empowering rural revitalization with photovoltaic technology.
