Suntech Earns Multiple Industry Recognitions at SNEC 2026

At SNEC 2026, one of the world's leading photovoltaic industry events, Suntech marked several important milestones spanning ESG governance, international certification, product quality and industry collaboration. The achievements underscore the company's continued focus on sustainable growth, global market readiness and long-term value creation for the solar industry.

Strengthening ESG Transparency

As sustainability reporting becomes increasingly important for investors, customers and regulators worldwide, Suntech completed an independent assurance review of its 2025 ESG Report in partnership with TÜV SÜD.

The report was verified against the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards (2021) and the Shanghai Stock Exchange’s Sustainability Reporting Guidelines, confirming alignment with key reporting principles including accuracy, completeness, comparability, transparency and verifiability.

The independent assurance reflects Suntech’s ongoing efforts to strengthen ESG governance, enhance disclosure quality and align with internationally recognized sustainability practices.

Expanding Global Collaboration

During the exhibition, Suntech signed a strategic cooperation agreement with TÜV Rheinland to further strengthen its global certification and compliance capabilities.

Under the partnership, the two organizations will collaborate across product testing, international market access certification, ESG management and global brand development. Leveraging TÜV Rheinland’s extensive expertise and international network, Suntech aims to further align its products and operations with global standards while enhancing competitiveness in overseas markets.

The collaboration also reinforces Suntech’s commitment to supporting the international growth of high-quality solar manufacturing from China.

Achieving Golden Sun Certification

As the solar industry continues to prioritize quality and long-term sustainability, Suntech joined forces with China General Certification Center to launch a quality improvement initiative focused on promoting healthier industry development.

The initiative covers the full product lifecycle—from research and development to manufacturing, installation and long-term operation—and aims to encourage knowledge sharing, strengthen quality management practices and support the industry’s transition toward higher-value growth.

At the same time, Suntech’s TOPCon modules successfully passed all testing requirements under China’s newly implemented national photovoltaic standards. The achievement earned the company the first Golden Sun Certification issued under the new standard framework.

The certification highlights the reliability, safety and performance of Suntech’s products while demonstrating the company’s continued commitment to manufacturing excellence.

The milestones achieved at SNEC 2026 reflect Suntech’s long-term focus on responsible growth, product excellence and international competitiveness.

Looking ahead, the company will continue to invest in innovation, uphold rigorous quality standards and work closely with industry partners worldwide to support the sustainable development of the global photovoltaic sector.
